Ok. So it seems I will most likely be getting out at least one post a year. So here is this one. Kinda late, but oh well.

SO! 2013. Lets review this last year based on what I shared on facebook. Its a lot of fun for me. So here we go.....

January:

So this year started like this:

With the caption: Pausing from playing board games to watch Train perform Imagine and watch the ball drop

Me, my mother, my niece and my sister bringing int the new year right with board games and dollies.

Also, apparently the first thing I ate in the new year was Smarties and Pringles for breakfast. I'm so awesome.

Then Minion got suspicious: Minion is being suspiciously loving.... Its really starting to worry me. If I go missing it was the cat!!!

My sister slaughtered me at California Speed. (I super suck) Every time we play this game Karissa unmercifully KILLS me. Its not even funny. She just massacres me and laughs. (like a jerk)

Then I talked a lot about egg rolls, waffles and my sister's incredibly addictive chicken enchiladas (she puts all the crack in them)

I made Cas an adorable new shirt :D

And I made Embry a couple tutus

Then I talk about Olive Garden, hamburgers, and Sushi. I live in a world of hunger.

I then posted:  I'm in a closet!! I'm in a closet!!!!  Which came from playing games. Let me tell you my story.... :)

So I started playing Fatal Frame 2 with my bestie Gerri. We kept getting killed by the stupid Kusabi. It was making me so mad! So in studying the map I saw a door I hadn't gone through that was a lot closer than the one I was trying to run to. So I ran in and dove into what I thought was another room to escape through. But it wasn't. I clicked the map in confusion only to realize to my horror I was in a closet. To which I just start screaming "NO! NO! I'M IN A CLOSET!!!! I'M IN A CLOSET!!" Gerri, equally terrified, yells "Go left! GO LEFT!" My response was "I CAN'T I'M IN THE CLOSET!!" which lead to a LOT of screaming and running and eventually getting away from the Kusabi. It was INSANE!

Then not to long after that there is a post about the most surprisingly terrifying thing to ever happen to me on the game. As me and Gerri played FF2 we would read through the walkthrough. Most of the time we were still yelling and screaming. It was a lot of fun. But, this one time I warned, "I'm going to look through this window and there is going to be a face." So a walk up. This ghost I was about to see was called Peeking Ghost or Boy or something, so I'm thinking I'll look through the window and he will just be looking in, and it might be spooky, but cool. So I look through the window and I don't see him. I thought "Huh, maybe I have to do something to activate this one..." When suddenly he just comes flying at the window. Gerri and I screamed so loud I'm a little surprised now one came to make sure we weren't getting murdered. 

On a lighter note: Pixel is still around

I then talked about egg rolls, Mexican food, and sweets. Because I live in a permanent state of hunger.

And I fell down the front steps. Which hurt like mad, and is also why I go down my front steps super slow now. Even in the summer.

And now February:

The first thing I did in February is got my second tattoo. It was an AMAZING day.

Me and my cousin Neisha got them together. We got together at the beginning of the day. We dropped off her painting she had done, and got a price quote. Then we ate at Jesse Jean's Coffee Beans (My FAVORITE place to eat ever!!) 

After that we got tattoos done. We both got our zodiac signs. Her Leo, and my cusp (Cancer/Leo). We ended the day with all you can eat sushi. It was an amazing day full of awesome.

Then I got Lollipop Chainsaw. Such an AMAZING game!!!! I LOVE that game. 

I made Cas some more clothes

Then we got Scribbenauts Unlimited. And I have some fun quotes from playing that

I've got a bazooka and a hard hat. of course I'm qualified to do this.

Have accidentally brought the apocalypse to Scribblenauts. Sorry guys. (sorta)

Yeah. That game has a lot of awesomeness. Especially when you accidentally on purpose release a zombie Apocalypse.


Then I got a job. I work at Joanns. IT IS AMAZING!!!! I seriously LOVE my job and especially the crazy amazing wonderful people I work with. This is easily the best and most amazing job I've ever had. I love it so so so so so so much!!! Best job ever.

March:

Then there is this:

I love seeing my sister. Even if its only long enough for her to throw cookies at me 

 Which my sister got Girl Scout cookies and got me some. And she had my awesome niece in the car, so she pulled up at my house, threw open the door, looked me dead in the eye, threw the cookies, and ran out the door. It was hilarious. I love my sister.


Then this:

Playing on the computer when a motorcycle roared by. No problem with that, but it sounded like the sirens on Silent Hill, and I had a brief moment when my brain forgot about reality and went "Oh no!"

Which I do sometimes. When I hear sirens that sound like bomb sirens I think "Oh no." There was one time a song started playing and I couldn't figure out why it creeped me out until I realised the beginning had the sirens in it. Silent Hill has ruined my life. (not really)

Then something truly amazing happened. Gerri and I made a blanket fort.

It stood in our living room for weeks. I LOVED it! (And plan to do it again soon) We sat in it and played Fatal Frame 2 all the time. It was AMAZING!!

And I talk "Gangsta"
Me: *says something with "gangsta" accent* "Yo!" *throws up "gangsta" hands

Husband: You need to stop that. You are not gangster.

Me: I'm the gangster-iest gangster! Yo! *throws up "gangsta" hands again*

Cause I grew up on the streets, yo.

And my sister posted this:

Reason #628 to be happy: robin egg lipstick lol. If you never did that you didn't have an awesome childhood like us.

We bought Robin Egg candies specifically to do this. We are not big fans of the candy, we just were feeling nostalgic. I love my sister. She is the greatest.

Then. Sadly. On March 23rd my favorite band, My Chemical Romance. My soul was sad. Still is when I remember there will not be anymore music from them. I love that band. They are really really great. Here is this.

After that is was Easter time so we dyed some awesome eggs

It was awesome. Addy was funny with it

Me and my baby brother Christian played Left 4 Dead It was awesome.

Playing games with my little brother. His method: Careful, plan, strategics... My method: Flail/shoot wildly and hope I kill them more than they kill me. This is whether we play Left for Dead or anything else. Its awesome. I love my brother. He is always saving me

I am not good at games, but I still like to play

I also got a new doll. And in a trend that kept up from last year, I sold her before the year was out. But here are some pics.

Then it was time for my 3rd big color festival. This year I went with Gerri, Daxie, and Neisha. We stayed in a hotel and had a freaking BLAST! Here are some pics!

It was awesome and I am SO EXCITED for this year!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

But in Spanish Fork while driving around, we turned down this really long road. We decided to turn around and as we did the headlights flashed on this creature that only me and Neisha saw. We could only describe it as "Slenderman streaking" we can't find any other way to describe it. I don't know what it was, I don't know where it came from or where it was going. It was super scary to see. We have since dubbed it, the Alien Chupacabra.

Also at the Color Festival I saw a girl hoop dancing. And I went home and bought a hoop. I have since learned to hoop dance. It is awesome. :D

When I got home the pets were a little clingy

They are so cute. And crazy.

April!!!!

Not to long after that I got my discount card for work and have used it incredibly heavily ever since. I love my job :D

And of course on April 23rd I had fun with Impossible Astronaut day.

I loves me some Doctor Who

After that was Nihon Matsuri. It was awesome. We went with Gerri and her husband and little sister.

I started trying to do a 30 day monster challenge, and I suck at drawing so gave up after 2. Here is one. Don't judge my bad art.

MAY!

In May I got new glasses

Watched some good shows

Watching Batman Beyond. Its set in the future. The main character just asked someone else "Does Jar-Jar suck?" and I couldn't help but think, Ha! Screw you, Jar-Jar! Even in the future you suck!

Watched Star Wars on Star Wars day. Cause I'm awesome like that.

Gave Minion hugs she did not reciprocate

I got some sound advice from a fortune cookie

"If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before." Probably the best advice I've ever received from a fortune cookie

I got a Batman shirt with a cape

Started drawing a thing and instantly lost interest (like I do)

I found THE GREATEST ART BOOK EVER!!!!

I talked a lot about waffles, crepes, and bacon. Because I needed all the breakfast.

Pika was a creeper

JUNE!!!!! BLARG!!!!

Then THE HAIRCUT was born!

I have had people take my picture and I get complimented on it almost hourly at work. I LOVE MY HAIR!!!

Animal Crossing came out and I found true love. With Blathers. I love him.

I'm just going to stand here and watch Blathers sleep. I learned from Twilight that's how you express love.

And of course I did everything Blather's asked, and hated being around Isabelle 

Blathers: "I wish people would donate stuff."

Me: "Done"
Blathers: "I wish we had a second floor to the museum."
Me: "Anything"
Blathers: "I wish there was a cafe."
Me: "As you wish."

Well my Animal Crossing town is getting a cafe. I love Blathers.

Mayor Me: Isabelle, who let you out of your hole?!

Isabelle: Oh mayor! Blah blah blah fireworks blah blah blah design, ok?
Mayor Me: Wait, what? Isabelle, what did you just say? You know I never listen to you.
Isabelle: Got that design ready?
Mayor Me: What design? Am I designing fireworks?
Isabelle: Let me know when you have a design.
Mayor Me: I hate you, Isabelle. Get back in your hole.

I hate Isabelle.

Yep. That's fun.

Then me and Karissa took Addy to the dino park. It was AWESOME

July!!

Of course the most important thing

I taught myself to knit. That was fun. In the middle of the summer. In all the heat. I could make scarfs. Yay.

Woke up to the best voicemail ever. Addy called me and left a voicemail saying simply "Hi Shay! I miss you." It was the best way to wake up ever.

I went to the rodeo with my cousin Katie and her son

Burned my forehead while straightening my hair. Now my head is full of pain 

Holy crap, I need a bagel sammich!!! TO THE KITCHEN!!!! *flies away*

I love McDonald's breakfast burritos so much. I think its the complete lack of nutrition that makes them so tasty 

And also it was my birthday!!!!!!!!!

Which is always awesome. (though I don't really know what I did on my birthday this year :P )

Then we took Addy to the Treehouse for the first time :D

It was awesome. I love that baby :D

August

I went to the fair and got my face painted

Went to the zoo

Both me and Addy got pandas at the zoo

And saw some awesome animals

And we went to the Dino park again (my favorite place ever!)

Then I cut my hair

And went to the Treehouse again and did some art

And went to the park

It was fun times :D

September!

Why was September amazing? Well I will tell you little birds. UTAH COMIC CON!!!!!!!!! BOOM!

First off. Comic Con!
Secondly: I crossed another thing off my bucket list :D

I made shirts for the occasion. The first one was a nod to Team Free Will

And the second Doctor Who

It was awesome. Also, I met Pam

And bought a ton of awesome stuff :D

I wanted to wear this one, but didn't get it done fast enough

Then I had my 5 year wedding anniversary and went to Rodezio Grill. So another thing was marked off my bucket list.

And to finish it off we did stuff for Addy's birthday. We went to the zoo and the Cheesecake factory. It was awesome.

October!

I found my hair soul mate in a doll

I finally admitted to my love of the word "perhaps". And I made an 8ft giant squid

This happened:

Just chugged a tube of mini m&m's, now chugging a can of Monster Khaos. It tastes like a chocolate orange in my mouth. Its a good day to be alive

And I dyed my hair

We took Addy to the trick or treat at the zoo

I had a fun conversation with Gerri and my baby bro Chris

Chris "I'm gonna get get you drunk on my love hump."
Gerri: "Its 'Get you love drunk off my hump'"
Me: "Yeah, if you are going to quote Beyonce do it right."
Gerri: "Its Fergie!"
Me: "Yeah, I don't care."

And we took Addy regular trick or treating

(Karissa is not really pregnant. It was a joke)

We also brought Pika the Pink Monster

And then I smacked Karissa and her "baby" (which was really just a bag of candy) fell out of her shirt, so then this happened 

"Oh no! You killed the baby!" 

"Good. Now lets eat it."

Which really just leads to one of the first things I posted in November to be just that much more weird

"Let's cut this baby open and see if there's money in it!"

"No! And stop talking about cutting babies."
"You never let me do anything fun."

My husband has no sense of adventure.

I'm pretty sure I was talking about the couch though.

There are a couple fun things I said in November. Such gems include

I talk so much with my eyebrows I feel mute when I wear sunglasses.

My husband doesn't like my man impression. I thought it was pretty spot on.

Me: "Supernatur-who?"
Chris: "Supernatural!"

Mike: "What are you guys doing?"
Me: "Being cooler than you."

Anytime I try to explain something about Doctor Who I always end up just shrugging in the end and saying "Its all wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff."

And I traded my Doll Chateau Bella to my cousin Neisha for her Luts Chiwoo

I named him Jensen. He is amazing ane beautiful

I said some more strange things

My mom doesn't really make jokes. Except for my brother!!!! Ha ha!

Me "Seriously?! I'm gonna punch you!"

Mikey: "huh?"
Me: "Netfilx. I'm gonna punch Netflix."

Crazier things have happened.

Mikey: "Remember that time I got scared?"

Me: "Which time? You pansy."

I am full of compassion.

I want to be a rock star so I can yell "You're welcome!" to my fans

"Alright nerd master, take me to food."

Apparently in November I was full of wit and charm.

December!

And now the end of it all

In December (and really since then) I have been basically living in a "blanket burrito" as I call it. Usually the dogs are in there with me as well. Here is what i look like

I watched Mickey's Christmas Carol and geeked out over the artwork in it.

I realised I have the power to become unmovable. (its really weird)

I did fun things to my hair

I bought a movie I've been wanting for years

I lightened my hair and had a cup tell me to shut up

I bought my sis stuff for her birthday and celebrated the new year by knitting quietly and watching movies while my sick husband slept.

It was another year full of awesome. I got a job, I found my hair calling, I got an adorable new doll, I went to Comic Con, and other fun happened. It was a good year.
