Been a few days...

But I'm back. And not doing to bad. Sewing away. So I saw this show today that was called "Boy Eats Girl" about a guy that gets turned into a zombie, but he's not a full zombie, so he helps his little girlfriend and best friends get away from the other zombies. It was odd and comical. I enjoyed it. I would watch it again, but I don't think I'd buy it. Then again, movies like this have a way of growing on me.

I also watched one of the After Dark Horrorfest films from last year. It was call Crazy Eights. I was bored and unimpressed. The storyline was askew, and didn't make the best sense and the characters made really really stupid decisions. "Oh, there is an evil ghost thing picking us off one by one? Better split up! She doesn't get us if we're in a group. Quick everyone get out of visual from everyone else." Not impressed. There are a couple from this year that look interesting. I think I may check them out. I still have a couple from the first year, but not all of those are all that good.

There are probably people out there that disagree with me, I do that alot with horror films. But different things scare different people. Serial killer movies don't do it for me. I usually get bored. Monster movies, I usually spend most of the time trying to find parts where the monster either looks fake or real. But I'm generally unimpressed with those (even though I did really love Cloverfield).

Supernaturals are the type of horror flick I prefer. But they have to be done right. It can't just be "You made me angry and I'm back to exact revenge!" There has to be something to it. Like The Ring, She was just evil. She says so. They ask, "You don't want to hurt anyone..?" To which she replies, "But I do. And I'm sorry." I had a friend argue that she doesn't mean to hurt anyone, but if she didn't mean it she wouldn't carry on doing it after she was killed. I also like The Grudge. Yeah, I know. I really like Asian horror flicks. The Eye was really good as well. Not really scary, but it had a captivating storyline, and an interesting twist that you don't expect.

I guess simplicity can work to a horror movies advantage. Simplicity or intrigue. Maybe both. I dunno. I would say I'm no expert, but honestly I've watched so many horror films, I may just about be an expert. I really like them though. The jumps, the screeches, the screams you try to convince others had nothing to do with the cat jumping out of the locker (Silent Hill reference!!!) I definitely would rather watch them in a group then by myself, and its not just that I'm scared (if its done right I do get really scared) its that I like to talk about them, see what other people thought. Talking movies, especially horror or drama, is one of the best things ever for me.

But yeah. My mom bought me Changeling the other day. I'm sure I've said it on my blog already, but that show is sooo wicked good!! I still highly highly recommend it. What's really wicked cool is that the whole thing is fact for fact!! They didn't add this part, and make up that part, it is 100% what happened. I hate to read "based on a true story" only to find out that there was this one part, and the whole rest of the movie was made up. But I really like Changeling. Go see it.

I made this wicked cute shirt for Oliver today. Yeah, you're gonna see a pic. Here it is!!

I really like it. It took a little while longer than most shirts, but it was still fun to do. Making shirts for Fiona is a little harder, she has that whole curves thing. Oliver's are just straight down with sleeves. Pretty easy

So Adam Lambert lost. Its a shame. Mostly because he lost to Kris. Kris did not deserve it. Adam did, but in the end at least they don't own his soul. You wanna know who should have won? Danny Gokey. He always gave a great performance, he was never in the bottom whatever, I was disappointed to see him go. I think Adam deserved it the most, but I do not think he is American Idol material. I'm excited to see what he is gonna do. It was always such a wonderful treat to watch him week after week. I'm bummed that I don't get to see what he's going to do next for a little while. I will defiantly be buying his CD when he releases one.

Tonight I bought my first bag of Salt Water Taffy of the season. I can't wait til I have some extra money to go buy more. That and watermelon are my favorite things about summer. :)

Well, I really don't have to much more to say. At least this blog didn't jip ya any. I talked ALOT!! So hooray. Eat up all the bloggy goodness. Savor it. And then try not to get the shakes before my next one ;p Toodles

Yeah, Its been awhile...

But now I'm back. From outer space. And by that I mean I space out alot. So yeah. Good times. I had fun making a quiz about myself. If you have facebook you should check it. Yep. It was fun. My husband just saw Blink 182 in their first live performance in... like 6 years I think...? I could be wrong, and if I am he may correct me. Hooray for Blink being back together! They are pretty wicked cool.

So a little Adam Lambert news for you baby birds, he has made it to the top 2! I think he will win. I didn't realize how much I wanted him to win until he was in the bottom 2 the other week. Suddenly the claws came out for me. It was crazy. So I hope he does well. I may be having a celebration dinner with my mum next week if he does win it. Adam for the win!!! Woot!!

Anyhow. So there is this show called The Tribe. I get addicted to it off and on. I mostly watch the season with the whole Salene and Pride love story part. But watching older episodes I'm really starting to love the whole Bray and Amber love story part. Yeah. I'm all into it right now. Its almost embarrassing though. And if you look up the show you'll see why. But be careful. You may get drawn in. Its like a drug.

I've been wanting to watch The Mighty Boosh so much lately, but I gotta know what happens next. Sadly though, I do mostly know what happens. I just gotta keep watching The Tribe. Its sad. I did finally see a new Korean horror flick. This one was called A Tale Of Two Sisters. I really enjoyed it. I think I will go find it. It was so weird, and really really sad. I liked it though. I started watching another one called The Ghost Of Mae Nak, but it was SOOO dumb. The effects were terrible, which I can forgive usually, but the script!! UGH!!! Horrible. All the conversation was dull and awkward. Not real at all. Its hard to get into a movie when the people seem weirded out when delivering lines.

I made some new pants for Oliver and Fiona. Well, am making some new pants technically. I think I messed up my sewing machine!! I have no clue what happened, but everything is being weird on it now. Its a little frustrating. Maybe I should read the manual. Maybe. Or I can just keep trial and error-ing it. Either way. I guess I'll figure something out. I'm sad that it is broke though. I love sewing on it. Its fun fast and easy. Like my sister!! Ha ha! I hope you read this Karissa :) You know I love you!!

I found a thing to make shoes and I made some for Fiona, so she FINALLY has something on her feet. I think they aren't bad looking. I found a thread on the site that looks like an interesting idea for taking photos, and I may try it out. I don't know how good I am at photo taking though. I don't' think my photos turn out so well. Oh well. I guess you live and you learn as the saying goes. Or is that only a song? Either way my point gets across.

Yep. So the nub and just... I am addicted to The Tribe, I'm craving The Mighty Boosh, I am gonna fiddle with, and hopefully fix my sewing machine, My sister is easy ( :P ), and I am gonna work on taking photos. Yep. That's the current me in a nutshell. PS. Nutshells are uncomfortable. Toodles :D

Hi everyone.

So today was pretty chill. Nothing to exciting happened. My mom gave me money towards my doll, and I should be getting her next week. I'm super excited. And Neisha may be getting her doll soon as well. I hope so. Hers is really pretty also. I'm excited to see her in real life.

Really dolls are all that's happening right now with me. I've been slacking a little on making clothes, but I'm gonna get on it better. Our Kitten escaped today. She is back now. I was concerned for a little while though. As big of a pain as she is (and she is a HUGE pain) I love her alot. Probably why I keep fighting for her. I would hate for something bad to happen to her. I just hope we don't have baby kittens anytime soon.

Well, I don't think I have to much to say. Adam Lambert did a smash job... again! My mom thinks he may win it. I am excited for him. Either way, it seems he has a good career ahead of him. I think I am gonna try out for it next year. Me and Lolli. Its exciting, scary, and surreal to think I may actually do it. I might as well though. What's the worst they can say? No. Then oh well. At least I gave singing a shot.

Well I think that's all I have for now. I love you all. Toodles.

Just another hum drum day

I got my hair cut today by my awesome sister. It looks wicked cute. I'll have to get pics up. I really really like it. So does everyone that sees it. Yay me. Saturday I have a million things I'm modeling for, and then I get color next Wednesday. Then that's it for now. I'm looking forward to it. I'm pretty impressed with my sister. She does an awesome job.

Anywho. I watched American Idol again. Adam Lambert did Born To Be Wild. It was awesome. Quintin Terrintino (or however you spell his name) was on it, and he said his favorite thing about watching American Idol was watching Adam, and seeing what kind of crazy spin he'll put on a song. I agree. Adam is the best thing that has ever happened to that show. Well other than Simon. I love Simon. I agree with him 9 1/2 times out of 10. I like that he doesn't just try to be nice. He dishes it. If I was ever on that show, I would value his opinion the most. He'll give it to me straight. No crap.

Yeppers. Well I haven't made many clothes lately, and I really need to get on it. So I'll talk to you later. Toodles

I'm watching The Mighty Boosh again. I do enjoy this show quite a bit. Big fan. I freaking love this show. Jeez. Hilarious. I really really highly recommend it.

Adam Lambert turned in another amazing performance. He did Mad World. I was beyond impressed. And Simon gave him a standing ovation.

Well I'm getting up early tomorrow, to keep an eye out for my dolls. So toodles.

Secret evil plans that you don't know about....

So I still haven't watched my Twilight movie, I actually lost it for a bit. But its found, and I think I'll watch it sometime this weekend. I still haven't gotten my taxes to get my doll. Mikey got his, and he got a wicked awesome computer. He is really happy with it, and I'm really happy for him. I can tell its working really well because he is not complaining at all. I just asked him, sounds really happy. I'm glad. I want him to have his nice computer :)

So as you may have noticed yesterday, I was a little short (not height wise >:( ) I have been pretty grumpy. But hey, tomorrow I get a facial, and Sunday I get to play with dolls (suck it!) so this weekend is shaping out to be pretty good. I'm happy with it. And excited for it. Should be loads of fun.

Me and Neish have secret evil plans in the mix that I am excited for as well. We are so wicked awesome. Soon we will be millionaires. (probably not) But I will be having fun nonetheless, and you will just have to wonder what I have up my sleeve. Tee hee. You don't know.

Yeppers. Well Adam Lambert turned in another wonderful performance on Idol. I don't think I mentioned it yet, but he sure is amazing. I am quite a big fan. When he puts out a cd I am going to buy it.

Oh oh! Do you know what I want to see so hardcore?! I wanna see The Haunting In Conneticut. I think it looks wicked cool. I wanna see what's up with it. What's going on Haunting in Connetecut? Huh? What do you have up YOUR sleeve? Huh?

Alright I'll just go see the movie to find out. Well I'm off out now. Loves and Hugs!!

Hello world.

Yeah. I missed another day. Oh well.

You know what. I'm gonna write about my husband. If you don't like I don't care. I love everything about him. I love his crazy hair, I love the color of his eyes, I love his broad comfortable chest... But the best thing about my husband is not his looks (that's just a huge bonus :D ) The best thing about my husband is that I know I'll love him no matter what, and I know he'll love me no matter what. Even when we fight, I know he'll let me be crazy, then hold me and tell me he loves me, even if the whole fight is my fault. He is so good to me, and I know I'll always be happy as long as I have him.

Ok. That's enough of the sappy..... for now!!! Anywho. So I've been at my mom's alot lately. She's not to bad for the most part, just a little crazy. I do enjoy my family, even in their craziest moment. Which is alot of their moments :) .

Oh oh!! Is anyone out there watching American Idol? Anyone? Ok, well Adam Lambert!!! The best and most original American Idol Contestent I've ever seen!! I do not hope he wins, but I do hope he gets a record contract and puts out some cds. He is AMAZING!!! I am in American Idol lurve!!! If you haven't heard him look up his Ring of Fire video. Or better yet, look here:

Let him sing the song. I didn't know when he was singing the practice stuff, but the second I heard the song it was American Idol lurve. I'm actually gonna watch this season. I haven't bothered with the whole thing since season 2. Mostly because its the same people and thing over and over.

So yeah. I think that's all I have to say for now.
