My Milo

Yes. I have my Milo. And I'm such a jerk. I've had him for almost a month and I have not been putting up pics, I didn't write a blog like I did with the others.... I feel like I've neglected him. I'm a jerk.

He arrived on April 19th. I waited all day for the UPS truck (and when the guy got there he told me I was to young to know who the Beatles are! Good music doesn't have an age limit) I quickly opened him, and... well... to be honest it was not instant love.

Sadly when I first got him, I wondered if I'd made a mistake. He didn't look like his pictures on the site. I felt really sad that I'd wanted him so much and he got here and I felt let down. I decided maybe it was his lack of clothes and wig.

In the process of dressing him I realized he has S hooks (He is a Bobobie Mai so that's uncommon but VERY good) I felt happy that he had a perk. I tried different outfits, different wigs, and such but I still didn't feel any love or anything toward him. I told myself it was because I didn't like his face up and once it was fixed I would like him.

During the week or two that passed while I was working out times to be able to meet with my aunt so she could do the face up I found a wig I liked and decided to make his shirt since I couldn't find one that I felt suited him. In the process of all this he tilted his head and suddenly I realized he looks like Ken'ichi Matsuyama a Japanese actor who played L (my favorite manga/anime/Japanese character ever!) and my heart opened up to him. That's what it took. A slight cock of the head and it was love.

I took him to my mom's and she looked and him and said, "He looks really Asian."

Me:"Yeah I know."

"Oh! You know who he looks like? That guy that played L."

Me: :) "Yeah he does"

It was even more confirmed and I loved him even more. I gathered up some pics of L to take to my aunts and asked her to do his face up similar to L. He turned out BEAUTIFULLY and I just adore him. I still feel bad that at first I was disappointed with him, but I just LOVE him now. He poses AMAZINGLY (except for his little leg twitches) he looks amazing.... Its love. So now here are pics!!

Yep. I think part of the reason I had a hard time at first also was because my cat was missing. I felt bad being happy and excited, while I didn't know what had happened to my kitten. I was very upset. But good news, a few days after I had him she showed back up. She is now wearing a collar to make any other disappearances a little easier.

November's last (?) Hoorah

So this week has been INSANE!!! But very productive and fun. And here is my little blog about why. Caution: Its gonna be a long one!!!

So let's start on Monday. The carpet guy came. I was all sorts of excited and I got stuff out of drawers and all that jazz. Then the guy left without finishing. Needless to say, I was annoyed. So that brings us to Tuesday.

Tuesday: the guy comes back and finishes the job (WOO!!) and we start getting things moved in and pulled out of storage and Mikey starts to set up my puter, but is not able to finish before he has to go to work. Which was fine, I had a long day ahead of me anyway with lots of work to do so I did not need any computer temptations. *By the by, for anyone wondering, I've been on Mikey's computer lately. So here is the beginning of the move told via doll point of view...

By this time I got tired of putting them up and I just got to cleaning and organizing without any fun time. Wednesday was just more cleaning and organizing. Very tiring, but it seems the cat liked the place for her new cat box.

And Wednesday night I made Oliver a new wig. Some of you may know about how his other wig was to small, and I've been having problems with it. So here is a picture of his newest wig.

Which brings us to Thursday. Which as most of you know was Thanksgiving. I went to my mom's (and she made delicious yams!!!) and we played New Super Mario Brothers Wii. It was super fun. And yes, I took more pictures.

Yeah. It was a fun time. We picked up Neisha while in Ogden as well so she could spend the weekend with us. So here is some shots from Thursday night...

So then Friday we needed to get the 2 storage sheds combined into 1. That was alot of work, but we got it done. Here are some pics.

After all that was done we went to Logan and ate at A&W. It was pretty tastey. Then we went to the mall where we saw some interesting things. First off me and Neisha went to Fun Unlimited. Which is one of the coolest stores ever!! While we were there we encountered a very annoying person, who we have dubbed Guy: The Annoying Hot Topic Demon Baby.

So Guy was loud and obnoxious to begin with and then he started name dropping cartoon characters. (though I did die a little inside when he mentioned Johnny) After awhile it became annoying obvious that he was trying to get our attention. So me and Neisha started the fun little avoi-dance. It was a little difficult, but we managed to keep him at bay.

While doing this "dance" we went into Asian Gifts, where we found Buddha Boards. They are the coolest things and I hope to own one soon. You paint on them with water and it goes away when the water evaporates. Its pretty nifty.

After that we went to Boarders (a book store) where me and Neisha got some Pocky, and looked at Manga for a little while. I bought a book called Get Well Soon and I hope to get that read soon. After Boarders we went to Wal Mart to do a little Christmas shopping. Some stuff was bought and while we were there I found an L shirt!! I love it!! I think Mikey posted a pic on his facebook, but I will get one soon.

Saturday and today was spent relaxing and watching movies (mostly Death Note :P) which was a nice change of pace after our busy last couple days. Me and Neisha played cards, and had Mikey's mom join us for a game of Scattergories.

And now we have taken Neisha home, and we are sitting here playing on our respective computers. It is a nice end to a fun and crazy weekend. Yep. So I hope you all had fun reading this. Toodles.

And further on into November

So not to much has been happening with me. Really. I made some new clothes for my dollies, put some temp tattoos on Anarchy again, and.... yeah.... I lead a boring life. But luckily I am entertaining enough to keep you coming back for more :)

Anyway. So I made a video and youtube will not let me post the audio because of the copyright on the song. So I posted it on facebook (so you've seen it if you are a facebook friend). But I want to reach a wider audience with it. So I'm posting it here as well. Here it is. Enjoy:

Yeah. That's it. I like it though. I got Little Bud a sweter since the cold weather is setting in, and he is a little bald still, though not as bad as last year. Lola only has a coat for going outside. Her coat is thick enough that she doesn't need a sweater for all the time wear like baldy does.

So I had a dream last night about this place I've been in before. Its like a HUGE school, or house, or church or something. I don't know what it is or why I'm there so much. I've dreamt about this place before. And each time I've gone through this locker room type place and into the older part of the building. It looks like there was a fire and that part was never refinished like the rest.

Last night it started out with me being in this show in the nice part of it. I was just with this group singing, then I went and sat in the audience by my cousin Katie. After a few minutes she left and I noticed that my cousin Jayde was sittig a few rows up, so I went up and sat by her. After awhile we left to. I don't know why we left exactly, but we did.

After we left we went into the locker room place and into the run down part, where we found my cousin Matt eating. So we just sat down and just started talking. It was just a regular conversation. We talked about what we were all up to. For some reason my dolls were there and me and Matt talked about their tattoos and his tattoos. I showed him my tattoo (come to think of it I don't know if he has seen my tattoo.) And that was it. A simple dream, but a good one that I enjoyed.

Yep. So lately I've been on a big Repo kick. I think I'm going to make Anarchy an out fit like Blind Mag's. Yep. That covers future plans. Well other than my kidnapping of Neisha. Yep. Fun stuff.

Hooray for Halloween

So I made costumes for my dollies for Halloween. Woo! Here they are:

My videos.

I make videos. It is fun. But now I pimp them. Like crazy!!!!

So one of the first videos I made is here. Its to a song called Icarus by Alesana. It was one of my first attempts at typography. Typography is moving type. Its also my favorite and most time consuming of the videos I do.

The typography that I am the most proud of so far is Here. It is set to Sally's Song from Nightmare Before Christmas. This one shows my progress I think. I spent alot more time on this one, partially because it was twice as long as the last one, and the longest song I had done. Actually, I'm pretty sure its the longest I've done so far.

The latest typography I did is Here. It is Molly by Mindless Self Indulgence. There is strong language, just so you are aware before you click. This video was unfortunately messed up when I rendered it (made it into a movie). But I think it still shows further growth and skill development. Or maybe I'm just arrogant.

But while my computer is in storage I can't do typography. It can take up alot of space, and its so time consuming I probably wouldn't let Mikey on his computer.

So I also do montage videos. I did one for an Anime called Vampire Knight, but as of now I only have it uploaded to myspace, so I will have to show it later. But I just did one for the Japanese supernatural crime thriller Death Note. Live action, not Anime. It is here.
